Lethality

2,000 Experience

You do not fight a stranger twice. A moment of watching — how it favors a leg, where its eyes go when it commits — and the foe in front of you becomes a foe you have already killed a hundred times in your head. The mark is just you, paying attention.

The Mark

A number of times per day equal to 1 + your Intelligence modifier (minimum 1), you may use the slayer's Study Target (Slayer) against a foe in line of sight. A foe under your Study Target is marked.

Your character level counts as your slayer level for every part of Study Target: its bonuses, their growth, the action required to study, and the number of foes you may keep marked at once. The bonuses it grants are Insight bonuses.

When a marked foe dies, you may mark another foe in line of sight without spending a daily use. This is not an action, and you may do it whether or not it is your turn.

Feats

These Feats modify Lethality.

Murder. On a hit against a marked foe, as an immediate action, you may invoke an antipaladin's Smite Good (Antipaladin) against that foe for 1 round. Its bonuses to attack rolls, damage rolls and AC apply regardless of the foe's alignment; your character level is your antipaladin level for it, and you use your Intelligence modifier in place of Charisma. The attack bonus is a Profane bonus and the AC bonus is a Deflection bonus. The mark ends when the smite does. Murder does not draw on an antipaladin's daily smites.

Lethal Power. You deal +1d8 precision damage; this functions like sneak attack, but only against foes under your mark. You may take this feat once per 3 character levels. Your combined precision damage dice from Lethal Power and sneak attack may not exceed half your Hit Dice (your character level + Tier).
